The CHEST Foundation's Tobacco Prevention Program

The CHEST Foundation has been involved with tobacco prevention and cessation efforts since its inception in 1996. With the assistance of the Task Force on Women & Girls, Tobacco, & Lung Cancer, products that promote abstinence and prevention of tobacco use have been distributed to ACCP and Ambassadors Group members, as well as to elementary school districts and public health departments around the nation. Tens of thousands of women, teenagers, and children have benefited from The CHEST Foundation's involvement in this critical area of lung health and prevention.

OneBreath.org builds upon this outstanding work by making additional lung and heart health prevention information available to the public. We encourage you to:

  • Review and download the available materials.
  • Volunteer in your community and lend your help to this important effort.
  • Share these resources with your extended contacts and ask them to get involved.

The information provided is accessible to anyone interested in teaching good lung health to children, teenagers, and adults. For more information on obtaining these products or holding a Community Outreach Event in your area, please contact us today at onebreath@chestnet.org.
